Stamped/Formed
SM/SC are a range of Size 16 (Ø 1.6mm) two piece stamped/formed crimp contacts, in male (pin) and female (socket) variants. The two piece construction has a retention spring enabling positive retention in the insert cavity and also to protect the body of the contact.
They are made of copper alloy with 0.7m Gold plating in the contact area, and Gold flash in the crimp barrel section (over Nickel). They are rated at 13A, and ≤6 mΩ.
They are available in 3 sizes to accept 16, 20 and 24 AWG wire sizes.
